Moroccan tissue manufacturer SIPAT has increased its production capacity after investing in an AMACO Group-supplied update of its tissue production line at Meknes.
The project involved enabling fully automated, hands-free operations, and production of the company’s tissue paper is now fully automated.
SIPAT said the project supports its expansion strategy on three levels: improving product quality, enhancing production processes, and accelerating market expansion.
Ali El Abdallah, Chairman of AMACO Group, said that tissue factories worldwide are undergoing “a major transformation” toward increasing reliance on automated production lines ad advancing technological features.
He added: “This development at SIPAT is not just about keeping up with global technology trends, it’s a strategic investment that offers a wide array of benefits, enhancing efficiency, quality, and the working environment, while paving way for the innovation.
“Automated lines also lead to major long-term operational cost savings by minimising the need for human labour.
“Moreover, these production lines offer high flexibility, adapting easily to business or product design changes.”
SIPAT is a leading hygiene manufacturer in Morocco and the North African markets.
