A newly founded Saueressig Group has been announced after a management buyout took place to acquire the Saueressig Packaging and Saueressig Surfaces divisions.
Chief Executive Markus Pennekamp and the existing management team took over the two units on 16 December 2025.
The newly founded holding company SAUERESSIG Group has locations in Europe and Asia.
Pennekamp said: “We are taking on entrepreneurial responsibility with complete conviction – because we believe in our employees, our locations, and our customers.
“The management buyout is not just a strategic step — it is a clear commitment to long-term partnerships, continuity, and future viability.”
From its headquarters in Vreden, Germany, the company confirmed that operations will remain unchanged.
